SS&A Engineering is the Group’s engineering hub created to address the needs for a professional engineering support office. SS&A Engineering is incorporated in Belgrade, Serbia, originally focusing on owner’s engineers activities such as site technical supervision, factory acceptance testing independent witnessing and general engineering.

In a response to market needs as well as internal needs of SS&A Power Group, the engineering hub acquired additional skills and expertise such as mechanical design, thermal design and 3D thermal flow modelling, automation and controls engineering and energy efficiency for buildings.

SS&A was awarded the lead of the cogeneration CCGT TeTo Pancevo owner’s engineers site supervision project. TeTo Pancevo will be the first CCGT power plant in Serbia, and largest energy infrastructure project in the country in the last two decades. The power plant is based on two Ansaldo AE 64.3A Gas Turbines, two HRSGs and one Steam Turbine manufactured by Shanghai Electric. The Turnkey EPC contractor is Shanghai Electric and the power plant will enter commercial operation in 2020.
